Licorice is a 2017 black colt born in the Round Mountain area of the Little Book Cliffs horse range. He is from one of the more elusive, shy bands, so have not seen much of him and most of the times I did, it was from a distance. I was the first to find him when he was about a month old. He was in Big Ed’s Field and I did get to spend a few minutes with the band before they moved on. Tawny, a sorrel mare is his dam and Onyx, a black stallion is his sire.
